Instructions

Instructions are for 4 servings. Please modify as needed.

  1. Stir all ingredients into the cream cheese. Let sit in the refrigerator for at least 10 minutes to let all the flavors develop. Add salt if needed.
  2. Rinse celery stalks, cut into 2-3 inch lengths, and serve together with the soft cheese.

Tip!

We used fresh herbs, garlic and lemon in this recipe, but feel free to experiment with your favorite spices! Flavored cream cheese works well with cucumber, bell-pepper or carrot sticks, and with low-carb bread and sesame crispbread. And why not add some to gratins or sauces?

i am an asian from the philippines. our staple food is rice. what is the best substitute for rice in lchf menu?

I find using cauliflower a very good substitute. There are lots of recipes where it replaces rice. There is a great tai red chicken curry recipe on here that I make all the time using cauli...you just put cauli in food processor and pulse a few times, then fry in butter...Another thing I do with the Cauli is when frying in butter, add some spring onion, chopped peppers and some herbs...sensational ?

    Hi Erik!

If you aren't a vegan, then egg and cream (fatty milk products) are good alternatives.

    Hi Eva!

Parsley, basil, oregano, cilantro, thyme or rosemary are a few ideas but please feel free to experiment with this recipe and use other herbs and try mixing different kinds. Good luck!

I added some toasted sesame seeds, celery seed and caraway seeds.
Fresh scallion salt and pepper. Its great stuffed in sweet cherry peppers or low carb dipped with pork skins.
