I like green tea with mint leaves, fresh grated ginger and fresh lime with the peel. Just pour boiling water over all and let steep. Strain and pour over ice. If you don't have mint leaves, sometimes I use a bag of sleepytime tea which contains camomile and mint, along with the green tea.

Patty, I use the same recipe and I love it. Very healthy and refreshing.
I also use flavoured tea, put in the fridge and drink like juice.... except no sugar in it.

I have been making regular iced tea, but exchanging one bag of the regular tea with a bag of flavored (Berry Zinger, for example) tea. It gives it just a hint of flavor and I don't miss the sugar.

Could you use Stevia if you want some sweetness?

I make sun tea with 3 regular plus 1 flavoured tea bag in a covered quart of cold water. Leave in sun for several hours until it's dark and strong. Then keep in fridge and pour over ice. It's never bitter and tastes great without sweetener.

Should you boil the water for the one cup water and tea bag, then put it in the frig or does the tea bag really steep in cold water?

Is using monk-fruit sweetener OK? (it has only 4 grams of carbs and a low glycemic index, & has "alcohol sweetener)?

Monk fruit is one of our top 3 sweeteners.
