Does the spinach have to be frozen? Reason, I ask is because I only have regular spinach and I would like to make use of it. Thanks.

Chop up fresh spinach, add to a bowl with water and microwave for 45-60 seconds, drain water.

These recipes are awesome but Why isn’t there any nutritional info on them? I need the number of calories fat carbs and protein to put in my Keto diet app! I definitely like to know how many carbs I’m eating!

The total batch makes 6 servings, so 1 serving is 1/6th of the total batch.

Se puede remplazar por yogurt griego.

You're nutritional info is wrong, by the time I added all this up it came up to 183 calories per serving, this is misleading for people who are actually counting calories.

I did leave out dill because I don't like it and I also use 9 oz of spinach instead of 2 oz because I used the whole package a frozen spinach by accident. But it still tasted great it's a wonderful recipe, I just wish you had your nutritional info correct.

I don't know if this happened to anyone else, but once I added everything together it tastes VERY mayonnaise-y, I added about 2 more tbsp of sour cream to cut down on that flavor, even tempted to add more sour cream but am worried about the calories. Just a heads up. I may do a 1 to 1 ratio for the SC and mayo in the future. The flavor from the spices is amazing though! Added some garlic powder also.

I add Greek plain yogurt full fat for half the mayo and sour cream...

I notice most Diet Dr recipes don’t give serving size by measure only by number of servings. I portioned this recipe out myself and mine came to about 4Tbsp or 1/4 cup is equal to one serving or 1/6 of recipe. Wish they did this for us, would be big help.

Yes, since we need the carb count to be accurate by serving, giving the number of servings each recipe makes is the most accurate way to ensure you're eating the carbs/fat/protein as listed in the nutrition information for each recipe. For something like a dip like this recipe, there won't be much variation between batches but in casseroles or soups for example, total volume of the final dish can vary a lot based on how much the dish cooked down and reduced.

Absolutely, you will want to steam it briefly to soften it, or heat it with a little water in a skillet first. I always make mine this way and it is wonderful.
