Is it an omelet? Is it a pizza? Is it a quiche? Who cares?! When it tastes this good and it's keto, too, call it whatever you like. Just make sure you call every one to come for dinner for this simple, tasty meal!

This recipe has been added to the shopping list.

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC).
  2. Start by making the crust. Crack eggs into a medium-sized bowl and add the rest of the crust ingredients. Give it a good stir to combine.
  3. Line a pie plate (a normal sized pie plate is big enough for two portions), or any other ovenproof dish, with parchment paper (crumple the sheet before you flatten it out to make it stay down more easily). Pour in the pizza crust batter. Spread it out evenly with a spatula. Bake for 15 minutes until the pizza crust turns golden.
  4. Use a spatula to spread tomato sauce over the crust. Top with cheese.
  5. Bake for another 10 minutes or until the pizza has turned a golden brown color.
  6. Sprinkle with oregano and serve.

Ciao from Rome, Italy! ๐ŸŒž Thank you for another great recipe! ๐Ÿ‘ IMPORTANT TIP: Wet the parchment paper slightly with plain water --- and then crumble it up loosely in a ball. Now, the parchment paper is very flexible and you can smooth it out and line any shape or size baking dish or pan! This is quick and easy -- and it works every time! ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ‘

Unfortunately, to get the classic pizza flavor, tomato sauce is a pretty critical ingredient of this dish. If you like ranch or alfredo on a pizza, you could experiment with those.

I added some pizza herbs, and a little bit of veggies and bacon on top, and after the oven a little parmesan and hot pepper flakes. I know not strictly keto, but still lower in carb. Served it with a minimalist salad. I liked this a lot. I need to make it more "crispy" on the bottom. Would it help if I flipped the "crust" when it was time to put on the toppings? My hubs, who needs to lose zero weight really liked this. I feel good after eating it. Hubs ate bread with it (not keto) and he doesn't feel so good. So, stay HFLC peeps! This will stay in our rotation. Easy. Fast. Quick clean up!

I made this for Sunday brunch and yuuuuummmmy!!! It was absolutely delicious! And I like how the garlic powder gives it a especial touch! Definitely will be in my favorite recipes!
After 18 hours of fasting, it was hard to eat the whole portion for one person and thatโ€™s of course a great thing! Thank you for the wonderful website and recipes! I tell about it to everyone I know! <3

I'm slightly confused. In the USA, the phrase "tomato sauce" usually refers to a canned product made from tomato uree (water and tomato paste), water, and less than 2% of salt, onion powder, garlic powder, citric acid, and red pepper. But it is really very, very plain tasting. So, when this recipe calls for "tomato sauce," it is referring to this very plain, basic ingredient, or is referring to a tomato-based pizza sauce? I hesitate to use something as blah as plain tomato sauce. But who knows... maybe in this recipe it works, somehow. Anyone know?

Really delicious! The bottom was so greasy though, it would be nice to have a solution for that.

OMG this is SOOOO good! It's like the tastiest "ball" of cheese! Cannot fault it and look forward to eating the leftovers tomorrow!

I used what has become the 'foodi' reference to 'Tomato Sauce'........ PASTA SAUCE. Works every time. Pizza; pasta, whatever. Pasta sauce is usually already seasoned. But you can also buy some San Marzano Tomato Sauce and add Italian Seasoning. VOILA !!!

So it says plan on 2 servings per person. So if I go by the recipe as is, that will serve one person for one meal? I'm confused. If I make enough for me and my hubs for supper and lunch tomorrow, that's 8 servings, correct?

The 2 servings for person is because you want one serving for dinner + one serving leftover for lunch tomorrow. If you need 2 meals for 2 people, that's 4 servings total.

    Thanks. That was easy!

I like to use strained tomatoes in a pinch (passatta) when saucing LC pizzas and dishes as this Keto Pizza. To give a more "Italian" flavour, we often put a thin layer of strained tomato and sprinkle with s & p, garlic powder and Italian seasoning if warranted. It's about the flavour you want to add with keeping added sugar/carb to a minimum. The brand of strained tomato I have has 6g sugar per 1/2 cup and we use it sparingly.

This recipe, as written, makes 2 servings. You can make fewer or more using the drop down menu over the list of ingredients.

Had this for supper. I added a few spinach leaves, a few mushrooms and diced red bell peppers as well as a few crumbled slices of bacon and it was fabulous. I can see making this and adding various toppings for various types of tastes. I only had 1/3 the pizza because it was so filling. My husband at the rest and loved it. Will be making this one again!

I made the recipe for four servings in a deep-dish pie plate. So far, after 20 minutes, the "crust" still needs to finish cooking; it's still mostly liquid and not golden. I should have used a bigger pan. I'll see if cooking it more will fix the problem. At the end, we had very thick cheese "pizza." Not my favorite, but I might like it better if it was in a bigger pan and, therefore, thinner.

Just made it and wow! That is delicious! I added some spinach, uncured pepperoni, 6 cut up cherry tomatoes, and some parmesan cheese. Hard to only ear half!

Should have held back on the tomatoes, they ended up making it a 12g carb meal ๐Ÿ˜ณ oops!

Cherry tomatoes pack a lot of flavor so you may not need as many as you think.

Hi can I use fresh mozzarella to make this?

Fresh mozzarella would work well as a topping, but not as part of the crust because it has a higher moisture content.

Hi! I am so looking forward to make this dish, the only problem is that I have a gas stove and have no clue how to bake on it (used to electric stoves); could this be made on an air fryer or instant pot??

    Thanks!

Plain tomato sauce, frequently located next to the canned tomatoes, is unsweetened.

This was super duper delicious. I just served it as a birthday lunch for my daughter and we all raved about it. It's OK if the cream cheese is not fully creamed into the eggs and cheese. I put pepperoni on top. I didn't use as much mozzarella on top as called for. I served it with other toppings for people to add as desired: sauteed bacon and spinach, olives, artichoke hearts and cherry tomatoes. I used the whole small can of tomato sauce which was 8 oz instead of 6 oz. I cooked it in an 8 1/2 x 11 inch pan. It stuck badly to the parchment paper. Next time I think I will just spray or grease the pan.

Just made a three person serving for myself, my wife and our four year old son. We all agreed it was delicious, much better than regular pizza! Only difference was I swapped tomato sauce for pizza sauce, reduced the mozzarella in the topping, and included capsicum, ham, basil and mushroom. It was really delicious and satisfying!

I donโ€™t like cream cheese. I know, Iโ€™m weird. Is there anything I can use as a substitute or can it just be omitted altogether?

You should be able to omit, or you could also try cottage cheese or perhaps some full-fat greek yogurt. (These will alter the carb count, though.)

This was so good. I melted the mozzarella and cream cheese in the microwave for about 30 seconds. The cream cheese melted well enough to blend with th mozzarella. I didn't want it too hot to cuddle the eggs. Worked great. Added some cooked mushrooms and a few onions.

Yes, minus the sugar this looks good! You can also use passata, which is a close equivalent to the USA tomato sauce.

The default for this recipe is 2 servings, so 1 serving is half of the pizza which is recommended to be baked in a pie plate.
