Yvonne used to see all those pictures of people who’d lost so much weight, but sometimes, she didn’t really believe they were real.

She was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and already knew that a low-carb diet is commonly recommended for those with diabetes, especially after having a friend who managed gestational diabetes with low carb.

And so, Sue went completely cold turkey. No pasta, no rice, no bread, no potatoes, not even starchy vegetables. She even had a few weeks of keto flu. But now, her energy levels are just amazing and she feels this way of eating really suits her, especially since she likes simple food.

Well I probably had a few weeks. Now the energy levels are just amazing. It’s like I can’t sit still. It’s really difficult just to sit inside and not go out and do something.
